Lenora Regina Thomas was born August 27, 1961 in Winston-Salem, NC to Lloyd  Thomas and Josephine Hairston. She peacefully departed this life September 4, 2021 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

She attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools and graduated from Parkland High School in 1979.

Lenora worked for Johnson Controls for 28 years and most recently was employed at Collins Aerospace.

She was preceded in death by her first born son Derrick Horne in 2003; both her parents; and three brothers.

Left to cherish precious memories are her son Jonathan Horne; three grandchildren, Kori Horne, Jonathan Horne, Jr., and Tobias McCaskill; her three sisters, Olympia, Andrea, and Donna Thomas; four brothers, Charles A. Thomas, Norman Thomas, Lethary Thomas, and Stewart Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VIEWING.

Private funeral services will be held Monday, September 13, 2021.  Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
