Mrs. Lenora Roseboro of Winston-Salem, NC departed this earthly life on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center after an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Earl Roseboro; her parents, Jocephus & Clara Harris; and her brother, Nathaniel Harris.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Marie Parson of Trinity, NC, Shirley Sterling of Winston-Salem, NC, and Glory Butiko of Houston, TX; her sons, Andrew Roseboro of Winston-Salem, NC, Paul Roseboro of Kernersville, NC, and Thomas Roseboro of Winston-Salem, NC; one godson, Dennis Burt of Mocksville, NC; one sister, Geneva Bailey of Mt. Vernon, NY; three brothers, Douglas Harris of Thomasville, NC, Austin Harris of High Point, NC, and Lester Harris of Enfield; one step-daughter, Barbara Penn of Baltimore, MD; one step-son, Johnny Earl Roseboro, Jr. of Durham, NC; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 27 great great-grandchildren; and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the First Baptist Church, 700 Highland Avenue, Winston-Salem, NC with Reverend Glenn Pettiford officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 10:30 am until 11:00 am on Saturday at the Church.
