Obituary
Mrs. Lena Harlee Rogers was born July 18, 1927 in Laurinburg, NC Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah Harlee. She passed away Saturday night, October 13, 2007 at the Clemmons Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.
She attended the public schools in Laurinburg, NC and was employed by the Neeses Sausage Family for many years. She was a devoted member of Lebanon Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Isaiah and Callie Thompson Harlee; her husband, James Rogers; three sisters, Bessie Dunlap, Daisy Richardson, and Bertha Harlee; and three brothers, Clifton, Jimmy and R.B. Harlee.
Fond memories will be cherished by her two sisters, Bettye McCray of Baltimore, MD and Eula (Charles) Gray of Winston-Salem, NC; three sisters-in-law, Willie Pearl Thompson of Fayetteville, NC, Mildred Harlee of Laurinburg, NC and Letha Harlee of Detroit, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, October 20, 2007 from the Mount Olive Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Charles E. Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12 Noon on Saturday at the Church.
