Mr. L.C. Smith, 62, was born in Guilford County, NC to the late Banks Smith and Irene S. Shelf. He passed away April 12, 2011.
He was educated at Carver High School and was employed by the Town of Kernersville, NC for 40 years. He was blessed to be married to Imogene T. Smith for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of the home; three daughters, Jennifer (James) Wilson, Iretha Terry, and Angela (Shane) Bonner; 8 grandchildren; one great-grandson; three brothers; eight sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Sunday, April 17, 2011 at The Church of the Living God, Stokesdale, NC Pastor FC Martin, and with Apostle Dean Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Walnut Cove, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 11:30am on Sunday at the Church.
