LaTayna Antoinette Mack, also known as "Tan" or "TT", was born on March 9, 1973 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She was called home to eternal rest on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Novant Forsyth Medical Center after a hard-fought battle with COVID-19 complicated by SLE Lupus.
She attended Pine Forest Senior High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina Class of 1992. She received her Associates Degree in General Studies from Forsyth Technical Community College in 2020. As an active Certified Nurse Assistant, her care was never less than diligent, personable and empathetic to her patients. She confessed Christ as her savior at an early age. She was baptized at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She blessed the lives of many people and never expected or asked for anything in return.
She was preceded in death by her father, Reginald Leo Mack; her mother, Phyllis Diane King Mack; maternal grandmother, Bertha Louise Wilson King; paternal grandmother, Mae Frances Mack; and paternal grandfather, Leo "Shuler" Hughes.
She leaves to celebrate her life two children, son, Devin Mack and daughter, Naquay Parker; grandfather, Clyde King; three brothers, Davi Mack (Jennifer), Javi Mack (Anika), and Cesan Mack; one grandson, Liam Mack-Austin; four nephews, Javi Mack, Jr., Lorenzo Martinez, Jett Mack, and Noéano Mack; three nieces, Ambrya Mack, Jeanine Mack, and Lavenda Mack; aunt, Irish "Susie" Renée Gaines (Quincy); and a host of close cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Private services will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021.
