Mr. Larry Darnell Campbell was born October 10, 1950 in Forsyth County, NC.  He entered into his eternal rest on February 8, 2017.  Mr. Campbell was a lifelong resident of Winston-Salem, NC and was a member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.  He was a former employee of Forsyth County Department of Social Services & the City of Winston-Salem.

Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his parents, Mac & Blondell Campbell; brothers, Lee Atkins, Jr., Sam Campbell, and Ross Campbell; sister, Catherine Clowers; and granddaughter, Shiniece Amos.

Mr. Campbell leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Patricia H. Campbell; daughters, Kenyatta Amos, Marie Gentry, and Shamesha Gentry; four grandchildren, James Scott, IV, Majasha Terry, Myjayla Terry, and Nyjilia Harris; brother, James Atkins; sister, Deloris Dizsley; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Daryl Young officiating.
