Lafayette Campbell was born November 2, 1949 to Lafayette and Lelia Campbell.  He departed this life at his home early Friday morning, January 7, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Larry and Micheal Campbell; and his sister, Portia Allen.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Latasha (Kenny) Wilkes; son, Roger McNeil; sister, Melinda (Jerry) Majette; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; four nephews, Lovell Campbell, Sean Campbell, Tyrone Campbell, and Robert Leach that he assisted in molding their paths to manhood; a very special friend, Vernetta Cockerham; and a host of family and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Scottie I. White, Sr. officiating.
