LaDonna Bitting Clark of 2501 Lewis St. passed away on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born Aug. 6, 1944 to James B. Miller and Margaret B. Bitting.

LaDonna graduated from Atkins High School and retired from A Cleaner World Dry Cleaning. She was a lifetime member of Rising Ebenezer Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Barry C, Bitting.

LaDonna is survived by devoted husband, Donald Clark; devoted daughter, Bridgett (Isaac) Pitts; grandsons, Irshad (Ayshia) Martin and Rashawn Martin; great-granddaughter, Laila Marie Martin; brothers, Grady (Celestine) Byers and Lynn (Marie) Bitting; sister, Andrea Denise (Bobby) James; devoted nieces, Nasha (Chris) Sanders and Nikki James; uncle, Earl (Patricia) Byers; aunt, Wilhemenia Byers; brother-in-law, Fredrick "Tim" Clark; sisters-in-law, Mary Toney and Atheline Bitting; special friends, Aldrenia Gaither, Brittany Gilchrist, Kelsey Fair, Malia and Barry Sales; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015 at Rising Ebenezer Baptist Church, 900 Free St. W-S, NC. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:30am on Thursday at the Church.
