Obituary
On Sunday, March 19, 2007, Kirby Reaves, 47, departed this life at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, N.C. Kirby was the son of Andrew Lee Reaves and Jerotha Archie,
Kirby served his country for four years as a soldier in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Lee Reaves.
He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Reaves; four caring sons, Joshua Noels of Pullen, GA, Kirby Jr., Jonathan Andrew, and Fredrick Damon, all of Winston-Salem, NC; hi mother, Jerotha Archie of Jacksonville, FL; Kirby's siblings are, Dr. Jimmy Reaves (Adrienne) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Marilyn Reed (Robert) of Winston-Salem, NC, Dwight Reaves of Winston-Salem, NC, Andrew Reaves of Jacksonville, FL, Tina Reaves of Jacksonville, FL, Toni Reaves Cooper of Jacksonville, FL, Larry Strickland of Jacksonville, FL, Kathleen Edge of Augusta, GA, and Katherine Walker of Baltimore, MD; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Clark Montgomery, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until 1 pm Wednesday at the church.
