Kim Leona Anderson was a native of Roanoke, VA and resident of Winston-Salem, NC. She was born June 14, 1963 to Edna C. Anderson and Clarence L. Smith. She departed this earthly life on March 17, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center.

She loved reading her bible; her favorite scripture was Psalm 91. She also loved writing poetry and being with her family.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandson, Artavius Jones.

She is survived by her three children, Candice Jones, Rico (Jasmine) Jones, and Tokena Jones; her siblings, Warren Anderson, Stafford Anderson, Ronald Anderson, Constance (Gerald) Spencer, Monique (Anthony) Mashack, Rosalyn (Darryl) Ennis, Victoria (Will) Johnson, Thomas (Rachel) Pannell, Hope Williams, James Smith, and Calvin Bradshaw; five grandchildren, Deonte, Kamiyah, Damario, Shakiya, and Christian; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon on Saturday at the Chapel.
