Kevin Anthony Parker of Alexandria, VA passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2021.  Mr. Parker was born April 1, 1958 in Winston-Salem, NC.  He was the son of Lilerwease M. Carter and the late Dolphus B. Parker.

Other than his father he was preceded in death by his aunts, Pauline M. Winphrie and Brenda G. Miller; and his uncle, Herbert Miller, Sr.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Myrna Lowe-Parker of Alexandria, VA; mother, Lilerwease M. Carter and stepfather, James A. Carter of Winston-Salem, NC; daughter, Brittany Townsend of Decatur, GA; uncles, Thomas D. (Patricia) Miller and Luther (Deborah) Miller, Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC and John E. (Barbara) Miller of Oklahoma City, OK;  sister, Larretta Rivera-Williams, Religious Sister of Mercy of Winston-Salem, NC; sister-in-law, Brenda Lowe of Rocky Mount, NC; nephew, Michael (Shea) Page of Atlanta, GA; stepsisters, Rosalind Carter, Cheryl (Eric) Jordan, and Linda (James) Coleman of Winston-Salem, NC; several cousins and many friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 6:00pm Friday, April 30, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, May 1, 2021.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.  Masks and social distancing are mandatory for the viewing and the service.
