Mr. Kevin Devante Parker, also known as "Buddha" to close family and friends, 27, was born in Winston-Salem, NC to Belinda Parker and Vincent Brown on October 1, 1994.  He departed this life on March 17, 2022.

Kevin was a graduate of Carver High School and worked for Novant Health in dietary.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents; uncle; and a very special aunt, Donna Parker Albright.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Ms. Belinda Parker; his father, Mr. Vincent Brown both of Winston-Salem, NC; two brothers, Cedric Parker and Dedrick Parker; four nieces and three nephews, special nephew, Tyrone "TJ" Jackson; two aunts, Bonita Crosby of Bermuda Run, NC and Tonya (Patrick) Edmond of Clemmons, NC; one uncle, Robert (Judy) Parker of Danville, VA; two great-aunts, Tomasue Crockett and Jacqueline Lindsay; two great-uncles, Herman Springs and Harold Springs all of Winston-Salem, NC; thirteen cousins with two special cousins, Lynette and Annette Hennie both of Winston-Salem, NC; two special friends, Scott Murray and Tyler Shore; and a host of relatives, family, and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, March 25, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Todd Fulton officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
