Kevin Matthew Davis, 40, was born on April 13, 1984 to the late Betty Gail Davis and Kenis Montgomery Carter, Jr in Winston-Salem, NC. He always tried to live his life to the fullest even if he was scared. He was an absolutely wonderful person, both inside and out. He had a heart of gold. Kevin was a dedicated husband and loving father. Kevin showed his love for life through how he spoke about his wife, Allanna and son, Kevin, Jr. of Belews Creek, NC. Kevin was a big kid at heart, a lover of Disney, Pókemon and Saturday morning cartoons. Kevin loved to laugh and make corny jokes.

Kevin attended North Forsyth High School in Winston-Salem and the illustrious Winston-Salem State University where he got his Bachelors degree in Healthcare Management.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mom, Betty Gail Davis; aunts, Helen Gordon and Marie Cornelissen; and grandparents, Grover Worth Davis and Sallie Lucille Helsabeck Davis.

Kevin leaves behind his wife, Allanna D. Lindsay-Davis of just over a year of marriage and son, Kevin M. Davis, Jr. (8 months); his aunt, Faye Lockhart and uncle, Ed Lockhart; along with cousins, friends and a host of others who loved him deeply.

A viewing will be held from 2:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, September 20, 2024 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, September 21, 2024 at St. Paul United Methodist Church with Reverend Pamela Blackstock officiating.  The family visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 2:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
