Mr. Kendrick Jermaine Jones, transitioned from this life on Monday, November 6, 2023.  He was the only child born to Linda Jones Bowman and the late Willie Lee Bowman on Tuesday, June 26, 1973.

Kendrick was a devoted and loving father to his children.  He attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and graduated from Carver High School. He loved playing basketball. He was a part-time employee at Five Guys and Yum restaurants.

Kendrick leaves to cherish his memories is mother, Linda Jones Bowman; three daughters, LaKendra, Kymina, and Ariana; six sons, Malik, Kanye, Jayden, Kendrick, Jr., Kyrie, and Tyree; granddaughter, Kalila Jones; sister, LaTangela Williams; brother, Michael Scales; very caring and devoted companion, Linda Brown; six aunts, JoAnn Patrick of Charlotte, NC, Patricia Johnson, Tilda Shannon, Phyllis Sutton, Delores Bowman (Horatious), and Peggy Sullivan (Dexter); four uncles, Turner Bowman (Sharon), Otis Bowman, Anthony Bowman (Toni), and Larry Jones; devoted great-aunts and uncles, and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Thursday at the Chapel.
