On Thursday, May 29, 2014 after a short stay at the KB Reynolds Hospice Home of Winston-Salem, NC, Katrina "Kay Kay" Evelma McCloud-Miller transitioned into the presence of the Lord.

Katrina was born June 15, 1971 to the late Bishop Alonzo Watson McCloud, Sr. and Apostle Brenda J. McCloud, the fourth of five siblings. Katrina was a product of the Winston Salem Forsyth County Schools and received her diploma from the Richard J. Reynolds High School in Winston Salem, NC. Before her health began to decline in 2008, Katrina worked many different professions. Her final place of employment was with McDonald's corporation where she served for many years as a shift supervisor.

Preceding her in death was her father, Bishop Alonzo Watson McCloud, Sr.

She leaves a legacy of love, inspirations, cherishing memories and personified qualities to her son, Minister Gerald Douglas McCloud; her mother, Apostle Brenda J. McCloud; two sisters, Elder Pamela K. McCloud and Pastor Cassandra McCloud-Durant (Larry); two brothers, Trustee Alonzo W. McCloud, Jr. (Bridgett) and Pastor Phillip G. McCloud, Sr. (Michelle); three special nieces whom she loved and cherished, Trustee LaNessa McCloud, Dela Davis McCloud, and Brenia McCloud; two nephews whom she adored, Phillip "PJ" McCloud, Jr., and Alonzo W. McCloud, III "Third"; and a host of other cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Uncompromising Word Fellowship Church with Elder Pamela McCloud officiating and Pastor Phillip McCloud, Sr. eulogist. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Wednesday at the Church.
