Mrs. Katherine Thompson Rayser-Coleman , 67, died Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at her home. Katherine was born January 14, 1949 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Robert & Sarah Thompson.

Having graduated from Forsyth Tech with a degree in nursing, she found employment at WSCC. Katherine was very active in Rising Ebenezer Baptist Church where she participated on the choir and various missionary circles.

Katherine is survived by her husband, Gregory Coleman; 2 sons, Jonperri (Donella) Thompson and Franklin (longtime friend, Tonia) Hamrick; and a host of loved ones and friends. Katherine will surely be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Monday, November 21, 2016 at Rising Ebenezer Baptist Church with Pastor W. Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Monday at the Church.
