Obituary

Justin Byron Summers affectionately known as Nuggie and Baby Boy entered into this world on November 12, 1979.  He was the second child of Cecil C. Summers and Robin S. Summers.  He transitioned from his earthly home to his eternal home on July 10, 2023.  He was a 1999 Graduate of North Forsyth High School and was accepted into the Art Institute of Atlanta.

Justin will be remembered for his affectionate smile and his love of making music.  Justin joined St. Peter's Church and World Outreach Center in December 1994 along with his father, mother, his brother and sister. He was joined in holy matrimony with Nikesha Herbin on December 31, 2011. Justin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hallie Lee Summers and Frances M. Summers; and his maternal grandparents Ida Skinner, Roosevelt Skinner, Edward Tabor and Shirley Tabor, Gladys S. Herbin, Ella Broadnax; and his uncle, Jerry J. Summers.  He leaves to celebrate his life and legacy his wife, Nikesha M. Summers; his father, Cecil C. Summers; mother, Robin S. Summers; brother, Cecil C. Summers, Jr.; and sister, Lindsay N. Summers and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and special friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Monday, July 17, 2023 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at St. Peter's Church and World Outreach Center. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon on Tuesday at the Church.
