Jurel Hawkins-Hazel was born January 24, 1986 and passed away November 22, 2013.
She was a graduate of Empire Beauty School.
Jurel was preceded in death by her daughter, Alamia' Hawkins.
Jurel leaves behind her husband, Darrell Hazel; son, Orlando Hawkins, II; mother, Muriel Reid (Kenneth); father, Orlando Hawkins; sister, Alandria Jennings (Robia); grandparents, Jurel Gwynn and Mary Thomas; step-sister, Kennethia Reid; aunts, Marlo Smith (Jerry), Marjorie Jones (Armin), Jeanette Whack (Steve), Angela Thomas; Collotte Rice (KP), Sandra Nathan (Lorenzo), Cherly Speas, Tonya Riley, Robin Staley; and Tawanda Maynard (Stack); uncles, Robert Thomas, Grady Barber, Billie Bradley, Tyrone Lindsey, Gerald Hardy (Sharika), Gerrod Hardy (Pia), Juan Hardy, Grady Hardy, Javonte Hardy, Germery Hardy, Vincent Brown, Antowin Staley, Ronnie Blackburn, and Calvin Blackburn (Melanie); a host of nieces and nephews who will truly miss her; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, November 29, 2013 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in New Hope AME Zion Church Cemetery, Lewisville, NC. The family visitation will be held from 10am until 11am on Friday at the Chapel.
