It is with immense poignancy that our family announces the passing of our dear loved one, Juanita Hampton Warren, at her residence Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the age of 75 years old.
Juanita will be affectionately remembered by two brothers, Claude Edward Hampton (Betty Hampton) of Newport, Rhode Island, and Elder Ralph Hampton (Virgie Hampton) of Rural Hall, North Carolina; her sister, Barbara Leak (Elder James Leak) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; a devoted friend of 30 years, Clarence Lipscomb, and a loving host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Juanita was born November 4, 1946, in Wilkes County, NC, to the late Claude and Lorine Hampton. A native of Wilkes County, Juanita attended Lincoln Heights. After high school, Juanita relocated to Winston Salem, NC, and later attended Forsyth Technical College as an adult. After graduation, Juanita worked for several companies and retired from Merita Bakery after 17 years of service.

Juanita was a compassionate sister, aunt, and friend who cared for others and loved to laugh, play practical jokes on family members, and demonstrate acts of kindness through actively volunteering in the community and giving of herself.
