Ms. Juanita Demetrius Squire "Meatball," 59, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bettie and Earnest Squire, Sr., was born February 8, 1957 in Winston-Salem, NC. She went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Thursday, March 17, 2016.

Ms. Squire attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools and worked several jobs throughout the city. She was a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and the company of friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bettie Jean McKoy Squire; father, Earnest Squire, Sr. (Duckett); and a special aunt, Mary Cockerham (Ms. J).

Wonderful memories will be cherished by her brothers: Ricardo Miller (Essie), Earnest Squire, Jr. (Patsy), of Winston-Salem, NC, and Adrian Squire of Ohio, three sons: DeMarcus Squire, Minister Savalas Squire (Angela), and Antujuan Squire; a devoted friend, William Dawson; and a host of grandchildren, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Tuesday at the Chapel.
