Obituary

Mrs. Juanita Hunt Brown passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Dawson, Georgia on February 28, 1940 to Iola Seay and Adele Seay.

Mrs. Brown relocated to Winston-Salem, NC many years ago and made her home there. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. Her love for her family was never ending. The lights of her life were her children and she was theirs.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents and a son Darryl Duane Glenn.

She leaves to cherish the many bright memories, a son, Timothy Hunt and a loving daughter, Jowanda Sanders (Bernard S. Foster, Jr.); two beloved grandsons, Darryl Emanuel Glenn, Broderick Jamil Moore; one great grandchild, Darryl Emanuel Glenn, Jr., all of Winston-Salem, NC; a brother, Thomas Floyd, also of Winston-Salem; a sister, Sarah McClendon (Walter), of Macon, GA.; and special friends, Lula Brown, Dee Avery, Nancy Price, April Rosemond, Juanita Andrews, James Glenn, Linwood Bryant, Dwight Stokes and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. James F. Linville officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. Family visitation will be held from 2 pm until 2:30 pm Saturday at the church.
