Ms. Juanita Baxter passed away on Wednesday October 19, 2011 at Liberty Commons NRC of the Oaks after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease and other related illnesses.
Ms. Juanita Baxter, age 70, was born October 13, 1941 in Shelby, NC to the late James Baxter and Eddie Colia Baxter. She was the fifth of six children. Ms. Juanita Baxter was a believer and follower of Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. Commonly referred to as "Ms. Juanita", Ms. Baxter was a baker at K&W Cafeteria for 40 years. She was an excellent cook. Ms. Juanita Baxter was a great mother. She was kind-hearted and a caring person who will be missed dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Todd Fulton officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
