Joye E. Herrera was born on January 11, 2025 in Winston-Salem, NC.  He departed this earthly life on April 28, 2025.

He is survived by his mother, Irene Rodriguez; father, Jonathan Herrera; sister, Johnetta Young; brothers, Jonathan Young and Jason Young; grandparents, Gerardo Herrera, Eugenio Itehua, Ernestina Herrera, and Araceli Rodriguez; uncles, Joshua Herrera, Landon Herrera, and Kevin Gentil; aunts, Sophia Herrera, Michelle Herrera, and Anna Gentil; cousins, Xavier Gentil, Ximena Gentil, Evette Herrera, and Genessis Herrera; and a host of other relatives and family friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Reynolda Church, 2200 Reynolda Rd. W-S, NC 27106.  Interment will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery, Kernersville, NC. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Saturday at the Church.
