Obituary
Mrs. Josie Jean Miller, 74, of 2037 NE 18th Street, departed this life peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Miller was born to James Willie Howell and Estelle Olivia Benjamin Best Howell on October 28, 1932 in Winston-Salem, NC.
Although Mrs. Miller was a retiree of Central Service & Supply at the Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center, she was a jack-of-all-trades. She was a welder, hairdresser, cook, and counselor in order to support her family.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Moseroy R.Miller, Sr.
She is survived by her three children, Rosalyn Shore of Winston-Salem, NC, Edena Thomas of Durham, NC, and Moseroy R. Miller, Jr. of Harrisburg, PA; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers; two sisters; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 12 NOON from the Chapel of Russell Funeral Home with Pastor Renwick V.E. Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:30 AM until 12 NOON on Saturday at the Chapel.
