Joseph Orlando Hines, Jr. better known as "June Tate" of 109 Worthdale Drive was born October 18, 1980. He completed God's works here on earth on October 23, 2010.
"June" graduated from West Forsyth High School. He was an avid fan of the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Washington Redskins. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. Through all his pain, June always wore a smile and never once complained.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Orlando Hines, Sr.; grandmother, Doris Thomas; grandfather, Robert Hammer; uncle, Levonza Hines; and cousins, Montreal Sinclair and Bobby Sinclair, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted mother, Lillie Hines; a devoted brother, Xavier (Keena) Hines; two devoted sisters, Chalita (Titus) Samuel and JaVaun (AnQuan) Patterson; a devoted grandmother, Mary Sinclair; devoted nephews, Montreal Devon Smith and Jordan Cochran; devoted nieces, Dejane Samuel-Davis, Makayla Adams, and Kimora Reed; four devoted aunts, Elizabeth (Joe) Sinclair, Ann Sinclair Doster, Margaret Hines, and Brenda Thomas; two devoted uncles, Bobby (Mary) Sinclair, Sr. and Lemart Thomas, Jr. all of Winston-Salem, NC; ten great-aunts; two great-uncles; God-daughter, Kieasia Richardson; God-sisters, Anita Martin, Sarah Land, and Shaqusha Peebles; four devoted friends, Drew, Chris, Jay, and Anthony; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Macedonia Worship Center with Pastor Aldine Ingram, Jr. of Steadfast Life Changing Ministries officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
