Johnnie Malloy, Jr. was born June 6, 1941 to Johnnie Malloy, Sr. and Hattie Simmons Malloy in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  He departed this life Monday, November 24, 2025.

Johnnie attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools. He was of the Christian faith.  Johnnie retired from R. J. Reynolds. He was an avid gardener, fisherman, and hunter.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents: Johnnie and Hattie Malloy; son, Johnnie Malloy, III; sister, Doris Barr; and brother, Willie Malloy, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories loving and devoted wife:  Helen Malloy of Winston-Salem, NC; loving daughter, Vernell Ingram of Winston-Salem, NC; two loving and devoted sons, Darrin Levone Malloy and Sean Leon Malloy of Winston-Salem, NC;  three grandchildren, Terry Ingram, Terron Ingram and Anthony Little of Winston-Salem, NC; great grandchildren; brother, Robert Malloy, Sr. of Winston-Salem, NC; five sisters-in-law, Thomasine Malloy of Rural Hall, NC, Evelyn Mahone of Waverly Hall, GA, Peggy (Rev. Clarence) Pope of Athens, GA, Dorothy (Cliff) White of Columbus, GA, and Mildred Mahone; brothers-in-law, Wilbert (Yolanda) Mahone of Columbus, GA, Melvin (Linda) Mahone, Ross Mahone, and Ronnie Mahone; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Monday, December 1, 2025 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Tuesday at the Chapel.
