Bishop Johnnie Lee Hill, Jr., 85 was born in Waresboro, Ware County, Georgia, on October 21, 1928. He entered into eternal rest on February 12, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

He is survived by five children, Gwendolyn Hill and Sherrie Hill of W-S, NC, Johnnie Hill, Jr. (Judy) of Birmingham, AL, Stephen Hill (Andrea) of Monroe, GA, and Alex Hill (LaToya) of W-S, NC; five brothers, Albert Hill, Jr. (Beverly), Nathaniel Hill, Samuel Hill (Golie), Willie Hill, and Andrew Hill (Brenda); three sisters, Mary Shingles (Jimmy), Martha Goode (Leonard), and LaVern Hill; four beautiful grandchildren, Tramaine Hill Jackson (Ian) of Birmingham, AL, Chenelle Hill and Stephen Hill, Jr. both of Monroe, GA, and Dominic Hill of Tallahassee, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, spiritual children and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, February 22, 2014 at St. Peters Church & World Outreach Center, 3683 Old Lexington Road W-S, NC. The family will receive friends from 11am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church. Interment will be held at 12noon Monday, February 24, 2014 in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
