John Martin Tribble, Jr., 71, also known as "Peter Rooster", passed away at his home on November 12, 2017 after a brief illness.  John was born on May 23, 1946 to the late John M. Tribble, Sr. and Calberta Wise.

John was a retiree of the City of Winston-Salem and was a member of Macedonia Worship Center located in Winston-Salem, NC.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Tribble-Byers.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Linda D. Tribble; one daughter, Tammy Grooms; one son, Darren Drummond; seven grandchildren, his devoted granddaughter, Tenicia Tribble, the apple of his eye Joshua Tribble, Cornelius, Beatrice, Tonisha, Chris, and Vaneisa; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Macedonia Worship Center.  Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
