Obituary

John Dwight Segers, Jr. was born on May 18, 1968 to the late Sharon Diane Young and John Dwight Segers. He is survived by his wife, Maria Alexandre; four children, John Segers III, Jonathan Alexandre, Javier Miranda and Jayden Alexandre; his father, Ronald Young, Sr. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, one sister, Kimmilli Segers Jackson; two brothers, Ronald Lee Young, Jr. and Bryan Lamar Young; six nieces and nephews, Jayla Lawton, Anthony Greely, Jr., Ronald Young, III, Jordon Young, Oliver Young and Jianna Lawton; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

John worked as a Software developer for Utiliquest for many years. John was a proud business owner of many companies. He owned Youth Sports Rewind which he started in 2008. He was an avid golfer. He loved the game and enjoyed being out on the course as much as possible. John was very involved with sports. He was a Mentor and coached youth football and basketball. John was a family man and a devoted father to John "JD" Dwight Segers, III. "JD" was always his number one priority. He was an involved and proud stepfather to Jonathan Alexandre, Javier Miranda, and Jayden Alexandre.

John was loved tremendously and will be missed beyond measure.

Per his request, there will be no public viewing.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Friday, September 29, 2023 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 1:30pm on Friday at the Chapel.
