John Justice Fulton, 93, of 1655 Piney Grove Road, Kernersville, NC, departed this life Monday evening, January 5, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born in Forsyth County May 14, 1915 to John William Fulton and Rosa Hilton Fulton where he also attended the Public Schools.
He retired as a small farm operator and from South East Lumber Company. He was a long time member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where he was an active member of various Boards and Organizations.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife of 71 years, Cora Lowery Fulton; a loving brother, Clifton Fulton, Sr. of Kernersville, NC; a beloved sister, Neva Taylor, of Walkertown, NC; four sons, Justice Carl Wesley Fulton,(Millie) of Mocksville, NC, Ronald Lee Fulton (Joyce), the Rev. Clay V. Fulton (Bernell) of Kernersville, NC, and Timothy M. Fulton (Ann) of High Point, NC; he leaves eleven grand children, eleven great grand children, and one great, great grandchild, and a host of other cousins and friends.
Homegoing services will be held at 1 pm Friday, January 9, 2009 at Oak Grove Baptist Church at 3978 Pine Hall Road, Walkertown, NC with the Rev. I. L. Anthony, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, Kernersville, NC. Family visitation will be held from 12 Noon until 1 pm Friday at the church.
