Mr. John C. Carter, Jr. ascended to his heavenly home Thursday, June 22, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his father, John C. Carter, Sr. and his mother, Rebecca J Carter.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his 3 sisters and 3 brothers, Michelle James, Thomas Jones, Barbara (Terry Taylor) Carter, Anthony (Jamie) James, Angela M James, and Robert L Jones; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00pm Monday, June 26, 2017 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.  The family visitation will be held from 6:30pm until 7:00pm on Monday at the Chapel.
