Obituary
Mr. John Henry Cain, Jr., aka "Junebug" & "PaPa", age 67, passed away Tuesday Dec. 30, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Winston-Salem, NC on Nov. 3, 1947 to John H. Cain, Sr. & Mary Cain.
He was retired from Winston-Salem State University.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, David Brown, Rosemary Brown, and Monroe Cain.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Alice Cain; children, Tamika (Anthony) Gentry, Sharon (Kwame) Nyerere, John (Edwina) Cain, George (Shanya) Massey, Alicia (Michael) Clinton, and Joe Abraham; twenty grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brother, Oscar Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Homegoing services will be held at 12noon Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Clinton, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Monday at the Chapel.
