Jimmice Hart Jones was born on October 5, 1960 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Sarah McCracken Hart and Joseph Lee Hart.

Jimmice graduated from Parkland High School in 1978 and was a 1982 graduate of WSSU. She was formerly employed by Piedmont Airlines/US Airways.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra McCracken.

Those surviving to cherish her memory are a loving daughter, Bianca (Ricardo) Orellana; a grandson, Ricardo Orellana, Jr.; four sisters, Barbara McCracken and Zenobia Walker (Chauncey) of Hampton, VA, and Linda Lindsay and Vera Wardlow (David) of the city; four brothers, Pastor Silas Hart (Kay) of Jefferson, NC, Clarence Hart (Melinda), Elder Sherman Hart (Wanda), and Pastor Paul Hart (Sandra) all of the city; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 12:30pm Friday, July 13, 2018 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 4129 Northampton Drive, with Pastor Nathan Scovens officiating.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12:00noon until 12:30pm on Friday at the church.
