Mr. Jerry C. Watkins, Jr. "Pooh", 28, left us all unexpectedly on Monday, April 1, 2019.

He was born on November 9, 1990 in Winston-Salem, NC to Felisa M. Wilson and Jerry C. Watkins, Sr.

Pooh was a wonderful person inside and out. He was a loving father who always made sure his children were provided for and looked just as good as he did!

He was preceded in death by his nephew Chamyn L. Graham.

Pooh is survived by his three children, Ja'Vion C. Watkins, Juelz C. Watkins and their mother Natrise, and Jeh'Mere C. Watkins and his mother La'Shae; his loving parents, Felisa M. Wilson and Jerry C. Watkins, Sr.; his two grandmothers, Jean Jessup-Watkins and Pearlie (Reginald) McLaurin; his grandfather, Ruben (Patsy) Watkins; his beloved step-mother, Nadine M. Watkins; three sisters, Andreca L. Wilson, Kiyunta S. Wilson, and Kayla N. Brooks; four brothers, Tyrone D. Taylor, Tevin D. Watkins, Tyrese A. Lattimore, Baby Ray L .Wilson; three nephews, Jonathan D. Williamson, Jr., Ta'Shaun C. Bell, and Channing L. Graham; one niece, Alexia A. Wilson; and a host loving cousins, other relatives, and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Speas officiating and Elder Manuel Jessup  eulogist.  Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Monday at the Chapel.
