Jerry Lee Majette, 69, departed this life on Friday November 10, 2023 at his home.  Jerry was born November 10, 1954 in Lumberton, NC.

He attended WSFCS Anderson and Parkland.  He was a long-distance Truck Driver for many years.  He retired in 2021 from East Penn Manufacturing as a forklift driver for over 20 years.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Betty (Majett) Williams; and a stepson, Avell Campbell.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife of 23 years Melinda Majette; stepson, Robert Lee Leach; siblings, Minister Frankye Majett, Garrett Majett, Vickie Majett (Ralph Hampton) and Michael Majett all of Winston-Salem, NC; six nephews; one niece; seven great-nephews; four great nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends; and his best friend and God brother, Dennis Lewis.

Jerry was a faithful member and a dedicated deacon of the Greater Abba Father's Ministries, Inc. led by Bishop Scottie I. White Sr. and Pastor Earline D. White.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, November 17, 2023 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Saturday November 18, 2023 at Greater Abba Father's Ministries, Inc., 4634 Shattalon Drive Winston-Salem, NC 27106. The family visitation will be from 11:00 am until 11:30am on Saturday at the Church. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
