Mr. Jerry Wayne Fulp departed this life on Thursday February 27, 2025 at Guilford Health Care Center.  He was born October 23, 1959 to Preston and Janie Fulp Sr.

Jerry attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and was employed by S&H Lumber Company until his health declined.

Jerry was a hard worker.  He greatly loved his nieces and nephews. He loved sports, mainly NASCAR and basketball.  His favorite team was the Las Vegas Raiders.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Janie Fulp Sr.; three brothers, Bill Fulp, Donald Fulp, and Garry Fulp; his sister, Mary Jane Fulp; and his grandmother, Maybelle Mitchell.

He leaves to cherish loving memories one brother, Rev. Preston (Wanda) Fulp of Winston-Salem, NC; two sisters, Nancy Fulp of Walnut Cove, NC and Francene (Donnie) Hatcher of Rural Hall, NC; two aunts, Ella Mae Fulp of Walkertown, NC and Alice Manns of Walnut Cove, NC; one uncle, Johnny Manns of Winston-Salem , NC; one sister-in-law, Betty Fulp of Kernersville, NC; best friends, Mark Linster and Sterling (Red) Hairston; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and special friends.  Jerry will be greatly missed by many.  He will forever be in our hearts.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Preston Fulp, Jr. officiating.  The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Saturday at the Chapel.
