Jeffery Linneal Ingram passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the KBR Hospice Home after an extended illness.

He was born July 30, 1962 in Winston-Salem where he attended the local public schools, graduating from East Forsyth High School. Jeffery completed his undergraduate studies at NC A&T University where he was conferred the Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Further study was pursued at the New Horizon Computer Learning Center in Charlotte, NC where he received extensive training and was certified in Information Technology. He was previously employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Greensboro, NC and then employed by Associated General Contractors of the Carolinas in Charlotte as a Computer Specialist until his health failed. Jeffery was also a part-time employee at Time Warner Arena in Charlotte.

Jeffery was a member of United Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, joining under the pastorate of Rev. Prince Raney Rivers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lemuel McMorris, Jr.; grandparents, Jake and Etta Ingram; uncles, Jhuria Ingram and Lawyer Ingram; and his aunt, Willa Augusta Page.

He leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories his devoted mother, Annie Ingram McMorris; cousins, Sandra Addison, Carl (Theressa) Page, Lolita (Roosevelt) Sims, Loraine (Bernard) Felder of Concord, NC, and Felicia (DeCosta) Huggins of Georgetown, SC; aunt, Hattie Ingram; and a host of relatives and many friends from W-S, Greensboro, and Charlotte, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm Friday, April 4, 2014 at United Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Prince Raney Rivers officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:30pm on Friday at the Church.
