Juanita Howell, 84, exchanged this earthly existence for her heavenly home on September 23, 2017. Juanita, the daughter of the late Mamie Lee Rorey Howell, was born in Winston-Salem on May 19, 1933. She was preceded in death by eight siblings. Left to share her wonderful memories are her brother, John Wallace of Charlotte, NC; sons, James Howell, Michael (Lottie) Howell of Charlotte, NC, Terry Howell, Timothy Howell, Rayvon Howell, and Carl Lee (Debra) Howell; daughters, Alice (Woodrow) Johnson, Barbara (Melvin) Howell White, Sharon Smith, and Robin Howell; three generations of grands, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Langston McCarther officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
