Jasper Lee Clark, AKA "Jazz", went home with God on June 5, 2013. He retired with 20 years of service from the United States Air Force and Centenary Methodist Church.
His favorite hobbies were collecting music, clothes, and hats. He enjoyed life to the fullest and making people laugh. He was the coolest man in Winston.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Albert Clark and his son Jasper Lee Clark Jr.
He leaves to remember his life, his mother, Creola Clark; his daughter, Portia Ann Clark; two sisters, Evelyn C Johnson and Margo V. Clark; a devoted cousin, Elaine Bevels; his caregiver, Katherine Davis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Wednesday at the Chapel.
