Obituary
Mrs. Janey P. Berry was born on February 8, 1955. She departed this life on April 9, 2015 at the age of 60.
Janey was the owner and operator of Hair Glory Salon for 29 years. She also worked at Tilley's Internet Sweepstakes.
Janey was preceded in death by her parents, James Franklin and Ruth Hood; and her brother, Wendell Robinson.
She leaves to cherish many loving memories her husband of 32 years, Mr. Waymond N. Berry; three sisters, Clara (James) Clyburn and QueenEsther (Hubert) Jeffries both of Winston Salem, NC and Gerealdine Barnes of Washington, NC; two brothers, George (Janice) Powell of Winston Salem, NC and Xavier Crawford; two sisters-in-law, Carrie and Ann Berry-Tyler of W-S, NC; four brothers-in-law, George (Faye), Matthew, Roger, and Nathaniel (April) all of W-S, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Goler Metropolitan AME Zion Church with Reverend Johnny Ruff officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am on Saturday at the Church.
