Obituary
Ms. Janet Sills, 46, of 3625 Barkwood Drive, Winston-Salem, NC, departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center.
Ms. Sills was born on July 28, 1960 to Wilmon Sills and Ethel M. Hairston Sills in Washington, DC.
She attended Winston-Salem State University and graduated from Livingstone College.
She was employed as a Customer Service Representative at US Airways.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Marshall Hairston and Birdie Fulp Hairston.
Ms. Sills leaves to cherish her memories two aunts, Carsley Mitchell of Madison, NC and Ernestine Sills of Rocky Mount, NC; devoted cousins, Dexter Welch of Nashville, TN and Parnee Sills of New York, NY; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 10:00 AM from the Shiloh Baptist Church, 916 E. 12th Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 with Reverend Dr. Paul A. Lowe, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Goodwill Baptist Church Cemetery in Madison, NC. The family visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM on Saturday at the church.
