On Saturday January 23, 2016 God sent one of his angels to accompany James Price, Jr. to his heavenly home. He was our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
James Price, Jr. was a great man: wise, courageous, honorable, and most of all dedicated to his family. Also known as "Woo/Buck", he was born November 1, 1958 in W-S, NC to James and Gertrude Price where he resided for 57 years.
He attended the W-S/Forsyth County Schools, graduated from East Forsyth High School, and was a retiree of RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company.
It can be said of James, before and during his illness, that he was warm-hearted and a loyal friend that loved to spread laughter, make strong friendships, and surround himself with family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Earnest Price.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Janet Robinson Price; two sons, Janava Price and Javon Robinson; one daughter, Jasmine Robinson; his one and only granddaughter who was dear to his heart, Jamaila McLean; two sisters, Catherine Williams McCoy and Lisa Price Walker; two brothers, Vernon Price and Brian Price (Anastasia); his favorite sister-in-law, Brenda Penn; and a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00pm Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charlie Clemmons officiating. The family visitation will be held from 3:30pm until 4:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
