James Edward Perrin III, 41, of Winston-Salem, NC passed Friday January 11, 2008 in Hinesville, GA. He was born November 29, 1966, in Winston-Salem, NC to James Edward Perrin II and Elder Constance Anita Perrin.
Mr. Perrin was educated in the Forsyth County Public School and also attended a culinary school to become a "Chef." Mr. Perrin loved to sing with his sisters while also enjoying family time with his family. Mr. Perrin, who was known to his friends as "Kojak" and to his family as "June," was a fun loving person who enjoyed life. He was currently employed at Jimmy the Greek for a number of years where he was a faithful employee.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Perrin II.
He leaves to cherish his memory and anticipate a glorious reunion; his mother, Elder Constance Perrin of Winston-Salem; four sisters, Veronica Blackwell of Hinesville, GA, Sandra Samuels (Pastor Stephone) Samuels, Patricia and Christina Perrin; one brother, Patrick Perrin; an uncle, Arthur Carr; an aunt, Velma Perrin all of Winston-Salem, NC; five nieces, Sgt. Sharon (George),Brittany Binns, Shanika Blackwell, Veronika Blackwell and Jasimen Crockett; two great nieces, Shani Blackwell and Cheaynne Boyd; three nephews, Rashawn, Lamar Edmond, and Christopher Crockett; devoted cousins, David and Will Townsend and a host of devoted relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at
1:00 pm Monday January 21, 2008
at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from
12 NOON until 1:00 pm
Monday at the funeral home. The family will gather for the repast at New Institutional Christian Church.
