Obituary
Mr. James Edward Dogan, 54, of Clemmons, NC passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice and Palliative Care Center.
He was born September 5, 1953 in Spartanburg, SC to Hattie Mae Mack Dogan and Hoyle "Bubba" Dogan. He was a graduate of Wofford University in Spartanburg and Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. Mr. Dogan recently worked as Vice-Principal at First Assembly Christian School in Winston-Salem, NC.
He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Priscilla Mack.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Welborn-Dogan; a son, Erik A. Dogan; one daughter, Kelsi L. Dogan; his mother, Hattie Mae Dogan of Spartanburg, SC; two brothers, Melvin (Dianna) Dogan of Maryland and Alonzo (Marie) Dogan of Spartanburg, SC; two sisters, Ella Grimm and Hazel Norwood both of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 12 Noon Saturday, September 6, 2007 from the St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2400 Dellabrook Rd, with Pastor Donald Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12 Noon on Saturday at the Church.
