King James Franklin Booker was born July 12, 1964. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend.

James departed this life on August 17, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Julia A. Walker; his mother, Georgia Mae Jordan; and his beloved nephew, Tony T. Crockett.

James leaves to cherish loving memories his children, NaKia Sheresse Black and Quintine Jamel Booker; his beloved soulmate, April Hines; his devoted siblings, Jeannette Hayes, Debra Booker, Jacqueline (Michael) Powell, Vickoshia Sansbury; brother, Larry Sansbury; his stepfather, Larry Jordan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that loved him dearly.

James was a real one until the end. He had a heart of gold and would do anything he could for anyone. He will truly be missed.

Memorial services will be held at 2:30pm Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 2:30pm on Thursday at the Chapel.
