Jacquelyn Irene Hauser-Claiborne, affectionately known to family and friends as "JACKIE", was born in Winston-Salem, NC on June 25, 1958. She passed away July 18, 2012.

She was a 1976 graduate of North Forsyth High School. Jackie attended Winston-Salem State University and graduated from the Culinary Chef School in Chicago, IL. Jackie was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, sports, and truly loved her family.

She is survived by her mother, Gwendolyn N. Williams; two sons, Quenton and Jelani Claiborne; husband, Wayne Claiborne; sister, Beleita J. Taylor; a devoted aunt, Sylvia Sprinkle-Hamlin; special uncle, Arthur William Sprinkle (Peculiar); one nephew, Karif Taylor (Cyrita); aunts, uncles, other relatives and special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Monday, July 23, 2012 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Nathan E. Scovens officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Grove AME Zion Church Cemetery, Tobaccoville, NC. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Monday at the Church.
