Ms. Jacqueline Eugenie Williamson, 58, was born to Katie Mae Williamson and Eugene E. Green on May 2, 1958 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She went home to be with the Lord she loved and served on August 30, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Sister Jacqueline Williamson was a faithful member of Greater Community Baptist Church where she attended faithfully for many years. She confessed a belief in the Most High God at an early age and loved singing His praises. The ideas and values by which she lived, the love and sense of service which she showed throughout her life stemmed from her upbringing. To know Jackie was to know love and gratefulness. She was a wonderful person who displayed the Love of God to everyone she met. She always had an "I Love You" for anyone she came in contact with, and her beautiful smile always made others smile.
Ms. Williamson, more affectionately known as Jackie, was preceded in death by her grandfather Hazel Williamson; her grandmother, Jessie Davis Williamson; her mother, Ms. Katie Mae Williamson; three aunts, Mary Williamson, Anita Harris, and Janie Bell Williamson; and two uncles, Hazel Williamson and James Willie Williamson.
Sister Williamson leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Doris (Jerry) Rhem; her father, Mr. Eugene (Wendy) Green; one sister, Carol Caldwell; three brothers, James (Sarah) Williamson, Darrius Williamson, and Taiwan Williamson all of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; one grandchild, Jerry Rhem, Jr.; one aunt, Dianne (William) Little; six nieces, one nephew; four great nephews; two great nieces; and a host of other family and friends including one special friend Ms. Connie Dew of High Point, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Greater Community Baptist Church with Rev. Melvin Frazier, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Wednesday at the Church.
