Jacqueline Lenora Huntley Porter Crawford transitioned from earth into eternal life on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, W-S, NC surrounded by her loving family.

Jackie was born January 6, 1951 in Roanoke, VA to the late James Thomas Huntley and Doretha Huntley Lyons.

Jackie inspired many people with her positive and loving spirit. Jackie had a long career of caregiving. She was an avid baker and enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Jackie was a faithful and committed member of Greater Church of Winston-Salem.

The beautiful memories of her life will be forever cherished by her loving and devoted husband of thirty-five years, James; one daughter, Alma Elizabeth Hairston (Christoffer Sr.) of Apex, NC; two covenant sons, James Fields (Sabrina) and Joseph Fields (Kajuana) of W-S, NC; four grandchildren, Kayuana Talley, Tiffanie Smith, Christoffer Jr. and Chanise Hairston; one great-granddaughter, Kamiya Al-Amin; her mother, Doretha Huntley Lyons of W-S, NC; four sisters, Patricia Huntley Rhodes (Donald), Helen Faye Huntley Handy, Christine Davis all of W-S, NC and Cheryle Butler-Pearsall (George) of Ansonia, CT; one brother, Paul Dunlap of W-S, NC; one brother-in-law, George S. Crawford (Regina) of Whitsett, NC; one sister-in-law, Patricia Scippo of W-S, NC; six special aunts; one uncle; and a host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Jackie's Life will be held at 12:00noon Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Greater Church (formerly Greater Cleveland Avenue Christian Church); 5095 Lansing Drive, W-S, NC with Bishop Sheldon McCarter officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held at 11:00am until 12:00noon on Saturday at the Church.
