Ivan Wendell "Twirl" Pagan was born on November 13, 1956 in Gastonia, NC.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Samuel Pagan; mother, Dorothy Louise Benson Pagan; brother, Vernon Lee Pagan; and brother, Todd Emmanuel Pagan.

Ivan worked for many years as a butcher for Food Lion. He became a member of MCHCWS once he transitioned to the Winston Salem area where he served as an usher for many years.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Travis Pagan (Fae); along with his three grandchildren, Caleb, Luna, and Alena; one sister, Bernadine Hutchens (John) of Lowell NC; two brothers, Paul Pagan (Melissa) of Pfafftown, NC and James Russell Pagan (Brenda) of Gastonia, NC; three aunts, Bernice Fox, Alice Gantt and Wilma Pagan; special friend, Doug Mincey; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Mt. Calvary Holy Church. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
