Irma Jean Jackson, daughter of the late Willie Mack and Loree Butler Jackson, was born on June 14, 1947 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. On Monday, July 9, 2018, she made her transition into eternal life at Novant Health.
Ms. Jackson was a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. Irma Jean Jackson graduated from Atkins High School Class of 1966. She was formerly employed by Sara Lee before becoming a full time caretaker for her parents.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Brenda Jean Jackson.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Karla (James) Paul and Terri (Murray) Miller; three granddaughters, Narisha Paul Harris, Jakeana Paul and RaKeisha Glenn; six great-grandchildren; a niece, Lorenda Jackson; a devoted friend, Thomas Woods; and a host of relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00pm Saturday, July 14, 2018 at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, with the Reverend Ronald Eugene Speas officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be from 11A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Church.
Special thanks to the wonderful Staff at Novant Health (Emergency Room and Cardiology Department) who cared for our mother on July 8 – July 9, 2018.
